Crotchet Braids

Hello darlings,

I hope you all had a wonderful Labor Day weekend! I spent the time with the hubby in Connecticut for a very relaxing extended weekend. A mini getaway is always great for the soul, mind and body :-).

A few weeks ago, I wanted to try some crotchet braids. I had never done twists or crotchet braids before so I was quite excited to try this new trick of braiding without spending endless hours getting my hair done. I absolutely loved these super long braids that Ms Edwina did for me. However, I'm so used to having curly hair that I think straight hair makes my face look chubby. I know it sounds exaggerated but but that's just my feelings :-). What do you guys think?
