Santorini Day and Night Wardrobe Changes

DSC_6263Planning vacation outfits can be quite a daunting task as I always end up packing way more stuff than I really need. Well, I guess it's better to be overpacked than to run out of clothes during vacation. On day 2 of our vacation, we spent the day touring the village of Oia. When picking out clothes to wear during the day, comfort was of uttermost importance as we were doing a lot of walking. This post is all about the outfit details that I wore on day 2 of our Santorini vacation while exploring the picturesque Village of Oia, Amoudi Bay (known for having the best fresh fish) and Kamari Beach (a beach with a black sand); you can read the full travel post here

Day Outfit Details:

For my day outfit, I opted for some light beige pants paired with a sleeveless blush blouse . During our trip to Akrotiri the previous day, I picked up a medium sized straw hat from a local souvenir shop at Red Beach. They had a huge variety of hats and beautiful sheer scarves but they were all quite pricey. I picked up these gorgeous black sunnies from Sassy Jones Boutique, who were showcasing their sunglassess and jewelry at Cocktails with Claire, an event hosted by FashionBombDaily about a month ago.

This is is the first time I tried out the temporary metallic tattoos. They are very easy to apply and I loved how they came out but unfortunately, most of them only lasted about a day or two, which was very annoying.

If you read my previous post, you will know that after an exhausting day touring Oia, I missed the gorgeous sunset while taking a nap. I really needed that nap though. After a short rest, we decided to head back to the center of Oia to see how it looks at night. I wasn't sure whether we'd end up at a bar or restaurant (we were just going with the flow) so I opted for something a little dressy but still comfortable. DSC_6253I wore my Balmain jacket, which was surprisingly warm due to the thick fabric. This was purchased during the much anticipated H&M Balmain collaboration. I was so lucky to have someone pick this up for me as everything was sold out at our local mall.

I fell in love with this bedazzled bustier that I picked up from the Bebe outlet store in Atlantic city. This was probably one of the most irresponsble purchases that I have ever made but I have no regrets, the beading on it is intricate and simply gorgeous :-).
