Best Educational Shows for Toddlers

Last week, I did a blog post about balancing life with kids. In today’s post, I wanted to share a few educational shows that your kids can be watching to keep them learning and entertained during quarantine. I don’t what it is about kids and music, but it seems that all they want to watch are videos with singing and dancing in them. You know you have kids when find yourself singing baby shark while your kids are asleep.

Word Party

This show can be found on Netflix. It has to be my favorite show for the kids to watch. It is very educational and covers a variety of topics from types of animals, jobs, fractions, how to express your emotions, etc. It also has some music and dancing that the girls thoroughly enjoy..

Baby First Channel

If you have cable, the BabyFirst channel is a must have for toddlers. They have a lot of different programs that are ideal for babies and toddlers. The girls love to watch “Squeak”, which makes learning fun through songs and storytelling. The girls know all their colors and I know most of it was a result of watch “The Color Crew”, which is a bunch of ‘live’ crayons that explore different colors.

The Mother Goose Club

This show can be found on YouTube. It’s not exactly one of my favorite shows but Zaria absolutely loves it! It’s more geared towards the older kids so I guess she just loves to watch the older kids singing and playing out different acts, while she imitates them.

Coco Melon

This is another show that you can watch on YouTube! It is a compilation of nursery rhymes and one of the main characters that appears throughout the different songs is Johnny lol. It’s a great show for the kids to learn about nursery rhymes.

ABC Mouse

This is a bit more advanced for the girls and they are not into yet but it’s perfect for reading, math, science, arts and colors. It has over 10, 1000 activities and more 850 lessons. You can get it for $9.95 per month and download it to your phone or ipad.

Are there any educational shows that your kids love to watch?

OUTFIT DEETS:

Lately, it seems that most of the clothes that I’ve been wearing are from Zara. Well, Zara has the best affordable high quality clothing (especially when you purchase them during their annual sale). The blue voluminous tulle top, along with the hot pink heels are from there but unfortunately, they are both currently sold out.

Thank you for stopping by; see you tomorrow!
