Early Fall Outfit Essentials - Off Shoulder Hunter Green Jumpsuit

Winter is an etching, spring a watercolor, summer an oil painting, and autumn a mosaic of them all.
— Stanley Horowitz

Dressing up in September can get a bit tricky because the weather is unpredictable. It’s a weird phase where it gets cold in the mornings / evenings and gets hot during the day. My end of summer/early fall outfit essentials always comprise of jumpsuits, long sleeved shirts, long pants, light blazer and closed toe shoes.

  • Jumpsuits - They are long enough to keep you warm in the early morning and light enough to keep you cool during the day.

  • Long Sleeved Shirts - If you are not ready for sweaters, long sleeved shirts will suffice and still do the job during this weird phase.

  • Long Pants - This goes without saying; long pants are a better option during this phase compared to a short dress or skirt.

  • Blazer - If you opt to wear a short sleeved shirt or dress, a blazer is always a perfect addition to your attire. Not only does it instantly make your outfit appear more professional, but it will also keep you warm.

  • Closed Toe Shoes - Ready to ditch your sandals but not ready for booties? I think most of us are usually not in a hurry to start wearing sweaters and booties too early on. Part of the reason is beacuse we feel like we are doing too much and kind of summoning the winter early by dressing the part. As the weather starts getting crispy, closed toe shoes like flats and sneakers are ideal.

About my Outfit:

I fell in love with this off the shoulder jumpsuit on first sight. It’s very comfy and the the color is so beautiful and perfect for the summer or the fall. I got it for my birthday a few months ago to wear at a house party. It’s super affordable and ideal for any occasion where you have to dress up. You can pick one up from Fashion Nova.
