Incorporating a Summer Dress in your Winter Wardrobe

Happy Thursday! I hope your week has been great so far. The verse above is one of my favorite from the Bible and I do have A LOT of favorite verses. How often do you spend valuable time entertaining negative thoughts? How do you feel right after? Everytime I entertain a negative thougt, it always leaves me feeling frustrated, defeated, depressed, angry, hopeless, etc. Nothing good ever comes out of it. I'm at my very best when I can focus my thougts on positive things that are praiseworthy. I would like to encourage you guys to be intentional about uprooting negative thoughts and focusing your energy on positive ones; you will be surprised how much it will transform your life and your outlook on everything. That was my quick inspiration of the day!

 A few years back, I used to pack away all my summer dresses once winter came around. That left me with only a few choices when it came to my winter outfits. Not anymore! Why not incorporate your summer outfits into your winter wardrobe so you don't have to spend money purchasing new clothes for the winter? In this post, I opted for a blue shift dress from Charlotte Russe and added a gold Bebe belt. I paired this summer dress with over the knee burgundy boots that I wore in the previous post hereI wore a sweater underneath the dress for warmth and also elected to cover my neck with the over-sized fuzzy stole - these things are heaven sent! I purchased this one at Forever 21 and unfortunately, they are currently sold out online but you can purchase a similar one from Zara for only $19.99 sale price.
